Temperature Monitoring Sensor
A temperature monitoring sensor is a digital device which measures and transmits data about the temperature of its direct environment.
These sensors form the foundation for temperature control processes as creating the input data from which you can assess whether temperatures are within limits the of your HACCP plan.
What is the importance of a temperature monitoring sensor?
A temperature monitoring sensor can provide real-time data of the Critical Control Points (CCPs) within your production processes, where hazards may arise if temperature limits are exceeded.
These monitoring sensors can then notify you whenever limits are about to be exceeded, so that you can take corrective actions in time and prevent potential hazards.
Without such monitoring sensors, periodic manual checks would be required and create chances for human error both in method of measurement as in consistency of measurement. They are therefor an essential part of any quality management system.
